It seems a shame to leave the ruined buildings at My Son (pronounced mee sun) bereft of their art, but I suppose it is easier to preserve in the museum, and probably more people get to see them in the city of Danang than would see them at the remote My Son site.mudmine

Unlike western gardens such as the Tuileries, a Chinese garden does not boast grand vistas, large lawns or beds of flowers rolling out as far as the eye can see. You should never be able to see the whole garden, I was told.
